1. Who we are
Quick Fire RPG (https://www.quickfirerpg.com) is published by Diverse Ink Publishing (“we”, “us”). We decide how your personal data is used, which makes us the “controller”. For anything in this policy, write to sales@quickfirerpg.com.
2. What we collect, and why
- Free downloads. Your email address, which product you asked for, the page or channel you came from, and a private link key. We use it to email you the download link, because you asked for it.
- The newsletter (only if you tick the box or sign up to it). Your email address, the date and the wording you agreed to, and where you signed up. We use it to send you the newsletter, because you agreed to it. See section 3.
- Orders. The store is not taking orders at the moment. When it does: your name, email, billing details and what you bought, so we can deliver it, take payment and keep the accounting records the law requires.
- Messages to us. What you write and your email address, so we can reply.
- Visits. We count page views with Koko Analytics, which runs on our own server, sets no cookies and does not identify you. Nothing is sent to a third party, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking. Our web host also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, page and time) for security and to keep the site running.
3. The newsletter
A few emails a month, and free access to every free Quickfire resource. We send a confirmation email first (double opt-in), and you only join once you click it. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link; one click removes you. You can also reply to any email and ask us to remove you.
4. Free downloads without the newsletter
You do not have to join the newsletter to get a free download. If you leave the box unticked we email you the download link once and send you nothing else. We keep the address so your link keeps working, and we delete it if you ask.
5. Cookies
The store only uses cookies it needs to work, for example to remember a cart or a login. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. If we add anything else, we will ask you first and say so here. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
6. Who we share your data with
- Brevo, a French email service, sends our emails and holds the newsletter list.
- Our web host, which stores the site and its data on our behalf.
- When the store takes orders, the payment provider. We will name it here before then.
- If you buy from us on itch.io or DriveThruRPG, that marketplace handles your order under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal data.
7. How long we keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your address, marked as unsubscribed, so we never add you again by mistake.
- Free downloads without the newsletter: while your link is needed, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Orders: as long as the law requires us to keep accounting records.
- Messages: until your question is resolved, plus a reasonable time afterwards.
8. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, to move it to another service, or to stop using it for something you object to. If we use your data because you agreed, you can withdraw that at any time; it does not affect what we did before. Write to sales@quickfirerpg.com and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
9. Security
The site uses HTTPS and access to your data is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
10. Children
Our products are for adults and families, but this site is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us their data, tell us and we will delete it.
11. Other websites
This site links to other websites. They have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
